The infamous US entrepreneur Larry Flynt has spread the wings of his Hustler empire further and wider than ever.

In addition to the gentlemen`s magazine division of the business, Hustler has long been a leader in gentlemen`s clubs in America. They have at last decided to break into the UK and Europe and Trigger Media have been responsible for all the offline creative material for the first Larry Flynt`s Hustler Club UK pilot club located in Croydon, Surrey.

Look out for a flagship London club opening in 2008, and then one in a town near you in the future!

Five-O Store relaunch
For the last 7 years, the Five-O Store has been one of the south`s premier independant clothing stores. Back in the summer Five-O closed its doors at the original site for the last time.

The 12th of October saw the rebirth of the store, in new and improved premises. It also saw a revised management team in place, plus a whole new, fresh Autumn/ Winter range of some of the finest high-end labels and exclusive streetwear from the UK and oversea`s.

Trigger Media have helped the Five-O Store with the entire relaunch strategy and all supporting marketing material.

ICE Service just got smarter
Industrial Cleaning Equipment Ltd have charged Trigger Media with the task of developing an online CRM tool. The system is hugely comprehensive and will help managed the entire Service division and their processes. Ranging from machine fault reporting, engineer scheduling, client asset management, job logging and reporting, service contract scheduling and even invoicing.

The system sets out to modernise and streamline many of the dated working practises within the Service division of the company. This in turn will provide the business greater efficiency and aid in its ongoing growth.

In addition to the benefits ICE will see, Service Smart will give the customers the facility to log machine breakdowns and faults. It will also provide them with an asset management tool, detailing an entire database of there machines and sites, including machine history.

ICE 40 year rebrand
ICE have been trading 40 years this year. To help celebrate, and in recognition of the need for progress, Trigger Media have been charged with the responsibility of producing a full revamp of the companies brand identity. Everything from advertising, online, literature, signage, vehicles, and uniforms to name just some of the material up for change.

3 things you should know about your web site
1. UNSUITABLE TECHNOLOGY
Flash is a technology that enables images sounds and text to be complied into a digital file. Many graphic designers like flash because it gives them an opportunity to show their talent for developing interactive, animated websites. Some designers develop entire sites in Flash. Remember that the purpose of your business website is communication with your existing and prospective clients, not to show everyone the talents of your designer. There are two main issues associated with the use of flash. These are outlined below:

- Not everyone can see flash
Many people with high security settings especially people who browse the internet behind corporate firewalls may not view flash in their internet browser. If people cannot see elements of your website or the entire site they will simply browse away.

- Search engines can’t register your site
Search engines send out automated robots called “spiders” that crawl through the internet and create massive databases of web pages. People then search for web pages based on keywords embedded into the web page. Search engines cannot see text in a Flash page, nor can they see hyperlinks. This means that when potential client searches for products or services using a search engine such as Google a site developed in flash will not appear in the search results.

2. CROSS BROWSER COMPATIBILITY
People browse the internet using different software and different versions of the same software. The most common internet browser is Internet Explorer but it is not the only one. if the site has not been designed with cross browser compatibility in mind different browsers and versions will interpret the code behind your site in a slightly different way. This can lead to fundamental differences in the way your site is presented to your clients and potential clients.

3. ACCESSIBILITY
It is now considered best practice to ensure that your website is accessible to all people. This means that a number of techniques should be utilised to ensure that people with physical and cognitive disabilities can browse your site. Features that ensure your site is accessible include; the ability to increase text size, the ability for screen readers to read your site and the effective use of colour. The 1995 Disability discrimination act prevents discrimination against disabled people. It is only a matter of time before making your site accessible is a legal requirement rather than simply best practice.

It’s dirty work but someones got to do it!
New e-based lingerie distributor ‘Innocence’, has charged Trigger Media with the admirable responsibility of developing their brand identity, along with the web site and online store. The idea behind ‘Innocence’ is to offer a diverse range of quality lingerie products, at competetive prices. The target market is women shopping for themselves and others, plus men shopping for gifts. When asked about the project, MD Andy White felt whist the subject matter “was of no personal interest”, he and the team were up to the task! ;)

A new dawn in foreign lending
Trigger Media have been responsible for the brand development and all subsequent media, for a new innovation in foreign financial services. ‘The Spanish Mortgage Lender’ will provide mortgages and remortgages for both British and Spanish, on Spanish property. Early signs are really positive, with the online campaign achieving a top 3 position in Google Adwords. They have also received a strong response to both press and radio campaigns. After initially targeting the Spanish south cost region, the team are now expanding to cope with increased demand, as business is progressively ramped up across mainland Spain.
